Committees

Program Committee
Co-Chairs: Erica Bass & Maurice Granger
This committee is responsible for planning social gatherings for the chapter,
fostering ways and means to insure alumni and visitors feel welcome, and
obtaining alumni support to assist with refreshments when needed.

Community Outreach
Ada Vann & Bill Harbour
This committee is responsible for planning community service projects for the chapter.

Fundraising Committee
Chair: Lillian Jackson  Co-Chair: Willie Floyd
This committee plans, organizes, and promotes our fundraising activities as well
as solicits donations and contributions from individuals and corporations.

Membership Committee
Chair: Rodriquez Johnson  Co-Chairs: Maurice Granger & Crystal Carrington
This committee is responsible for welcoming new members, coming up with new
ideas and strategies to recruit new members, and reclaiming lost members.

Public Relations Committee
Tim Summers
This committee is the PR (Public Relations) link and interface function for the chapter.
It has the responsibility for publicizing chapter events with local, state, and/or national
media outlets.

Student Relations Committee (formerly the Scholarship Committee)
Chair: Darlynn Jordan
This committee handles all requests for chapter-funded scholarships including the selection
of the recipient(s) to be awarded. They also regularly attend local college fairs.
